What is Halloween?

Halloween or Hallowe'en (a contraction of "All Hallows' evening"), also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve, is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day.

Now that we have learned a little about this holiday, let's move on to the event that took place in our corner. After 6 pm, life was in full swing in our corner. Everyone did make-up, dressing and dressing up. And where can you go without scaring your friends. Our party started at 6 and lasted until 10 pm. First, our dear Javi showed through his own experience how Americans celebrate Halloween, how they dress up and what movies are coming out on top in the last days of October. The presentation was interesting to all our guests, because at the end they started asking interesting questions. And of course Javi gave them all the answer. After such an introduction, Javi again surprised all of us. This time he showed us all a pumpkin carving master class. In the accompaniment of atmospheric and dark music, our guests enjoyed sweets from America and were able to take part in a master class. Drawing on a pumpkin, and then cutting a pumpkin - it was all very exciting, we did not even notice how the time came to the next task. The game was called guess what's in the box. That is, each person had to stick their hand into the box and guess what was there. You should have seen the faces of our guests, because things were far from pleasant to the touch ... After such a game, people wanted extreme and the next quest game began. According to the plot, there was a legend that the guys broke into the library and had to find a spell and read it aloud all together. The game was so difficult that in the end everyone was exhausted. The puzzle is not an easy thing! Throughout the library our guests wandered and looked for clues. And finally, after an hour and a half, they managed to do it. Having paused and delighted, we wanted to end our evening in a cozy atmosphere. The pizza and cola did their job. The hungry people were happy with the food and the horror movie that had been prepared in advance. A Nightmare on Elm Street, that was the title of the film. Horror movie in Halloween is just that.

Summing up, I would like to say that such meetings and such events make our circles wider and our company becomes closely connected, because there are so many common memories ... Special thanks to all our guests, friends, screenwriters and library staff!
